PAYOUTS
We pride ourselves on giving healthy payouts. Something to strive for, for making it onto the podium. Hard work needs to be rewarded and we are happy to do just that.
And for those of you that never seem to finish in the top 3, try as you might, check out our Average Joe below

THE AVERAGE JOE
So, you’re not the best shooter out there, nor the worst. You train as much as time and finances allow, you loyally support your local archery club, you pay all the entry fees…and still you always walk away empty handed.
Allow us to introduce you to The Average Joe, our signature feature since 2019.
In each of our money classes (with a minimum of 10 competitors) the person who has the average score will win EQUAL TO THE SECOND PLACE FINISHER'S EARNINGS. Ties will be broken using ASA rules.
Yes, you read that right...we reward average shooters.
Now, let's be clear - we urge and support people improving in archery. But in the meantime with The Average Joe, it PAYS to be average.
THE HATEFUL 8
We catch some heat about this from time to time.
Which is exactly what we are aiming for.
Because that's exactly what a novelty shoot is. This isn't supposed to be easy, it's to challenge you. Eight targets to put you all on an even playing field. To give you something to razz your buddies about and to give you something to complain...errr...talk about.
It's totally optional BUT every time you pay to play a round of the Hateful 8, your name goes into a draw for a Bowtech Alliance!
Open Friday afternoon til Saturday dusk.

SHREWD MONEY
Once again, our good friends over at Shrewd Archery are doling out a sweet bonus on top of our payouts to all our top 3 shootdown finalists in our cash categories!
Use it towards one of their fantastic scopes or stabilizers or get some of their accessories to up your archery game.
1st place - $150
2nd place - $75
3rd place - $25
(USD)
PRIZES
Over the years, we've given away THOUSANDS of dollars in prizes from some of THE biggest names in archery and the outdoor industry.
We are extremely honoured to have the support from Vortex Canada, Easton Archery, Dryshod Canada, Bowtech Inc, Shrewd Archery, HHA, Kershaw Canada, Gatorz Eyewear, Thunderstock Outfitters, Vortex Optics (USA) and more!
For the last few years, we've handed out door prizes Saturday night. We found this makes it better for our long distance travelers to get on the road immediately after the shoot downs Sunday. You do not have to be present to win when we hand them out BUT if you do not shoot on Saturday for any reason, you will NOT be eligible for any prizes.
All prizes must be collected Sunday (no holds, sorry). Those registered in the cub class are not eligible for main prizes but we have a separate draw for them.

IMPORTANT STUFF
We use ASA scoring but we do have different aspects to our tournament compared to an ASA (speed limits, classes, payouts etc).
As a competitor it is your responsibility to understand the rules and to ensure you are in the CORRECT class when you register and follow the rules of that class. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. Please acquaint yourself with the rules on our website before our tournament or feel free to contact us.
We will no longer be taking any requests to pair people up on Day 1, EXCEPT for parents/guardians of children.
This is a tournament with money on the line and there's a LOT of logistics that goes in to ensuring integrity, flow and safety.
We understand some people may be new, or unsure or uncomfortable but we set our groups to include at least one ASA format experienced (and highly personable) archer so those new to the sport have someone they can turn to. Get out to your local club in the meantime and get practicing!
It is only 20 targets each day, you'll likely see your friends on the course and we guarantee you’ll make new friends.
Please note that parents who need to shoot with their very young children all weekend may not necessarily be peer grouped on Sunday.
